These workshops are free of charge. The following topics will be addressed:
· Incorporating History Day into the school curriculum
· Reviewing the step-by-step process for creating a project
· Looking at examples of projects in various categories
· Learning about various institutions in New York City
· Reviewing the evaluation criteria for projects.
Content Workshops
Learn how to implement History Day methodology in the classroom through content workshops. Using primary and secondary sources from the Museum's exhibitions and collections, participants will learn the step-by-step process for creating a History Day project, including thesis writing, presentation of sources and labeling.
